Pave is a setting technique where stones are set close together to give a big stone look with lots of sparkle. My pieces are properly hand set. It takes hours of labor and skill. I use products of Man’s Magical Imagination: synthetic sapphires, spinels and cubic zirconia. Synthetic gemstones have essentially the same chemical composition, crystal structure, optical and physical properties as the natural gem material but are man induced.
